A direct repair facility is a body shop that works directly with your insurance company as a preferred shop. Many insurance companies will lead you to believe that you will be better served by taking your vehicle to one of their preferred shops. They will use common intimidation tactics to get you to take your vehicle to one of their D.R.P. shops. Remember who these shops work for and who’s best interest they have in mind.
